Have you ever wondered what it's like to play video games competitively?

Esports are an incredible thing. The ability for people to grab a controller or get on a mouse and keyboard and play virtual games for real money is just mind blowing. The competitive scene for Esports is only growing larger as time goes on. For most people Esports are not actual real sports but in my opinion they are and I can a give you a couple reasons why.

Esports are a combination of a bunch of mental categories. The ability to stay calm and keep your cool in very tense moments and perform normally is one of them. Everyone is effected by stress in every sport. If your team is down and you don't have much time you could panic and miss a vital opportunity. Also, the knowledge required to understand what your opponents are trying to do and what you can do to stop them is also very mental.

Esports are entering the sports scene in a crazy way. The 2020 championship for a game called "League of Legends" peaked at around 45.95 million concurrent viewers during the broadcast. That is a crazy high number of people watching. At this rate we can expect to see Esports start to become more popular and more people are going to start watching and appreciating skills required to play in this category of sports.
